About Dale's Fried Pies
Dale’s Fried Pies started when Dale Mackey began making fried pies for her friends and family in Knoxville, Tennessee. Encouraged by their positive responses, she decided to build a mobile pie stand to bring to farmer’s markets, festivals and private events. Dale’s Fried Pies officially opened in August of 2012, and now operates the Dale's Fried Pies concession trailer and operates a culinary incubator space at 921 N Central St.
Dale's Fried Pies wants to make the Knoxville community a more fun and awesome place. Towards that end, we established the Awesome Squad, which provides grants for young people to pursue creative projects as well as Random Acts of Pie, which delivers pies to deserving nominees in our community.
Dale's Fried Pies is proud to wear the Pick Tennessee Products Badge and Slow Food East Tennessee's Snail of Approval.
