About Dale's Fried Pies
Dale’s Fried Pies started when Dale Mackey began making fried pies for her friends and family in Knoxville, Tennessee. Encouraged by their positive responses, she decided to build a mobile pie stand to bring to farmer’s markets, festivals and private events. Dale’s Fried Pies officially opened in August of 2012 and is now available for your next event.
About Dale
Dale moved to Knoxville in 2008 and plans to stay here for a very long time. In addition to pie making, she enjoys writing, blogging, making things, playing her ukulele and acting. She lives in a little white house with two cats, two hermit crabs and her dreamy husband Shawn.
Where to Get Them
Dale’s Fried Pies serves at the Saturday Market Square Farmer’s Market from May through December. You can also find us at the Bearden Beer Market, and at various festivals around town. For the most up-to-date info on where to find the pie stand, follow Dale’s Fried Pies on Twitter and Facebook, and check the Calendar page here on the website.
We also love making custom pies for customers in the Knoxville area, which are delivered to you frozen or already fried. They are easy to deep fry, pan fry or bake in your home, so you can enjoy Dale’s Fried Pies whenever you please. Contact us at DalesFriedPies@gmail.com to order.
